Graphic Design Studio Wins Awards

WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina – Fifth Letter, a graphic design studio focusing on nonprofits, publishing, educational institutions, and emerging businesses, has won a design award.
Fifth Letter’s work will be appearing in the upcoming volume “LogoLounge Book 4.” The four logos selected are among the 2,000 chosen to appear in the book from a collection of more than 28,000 submissions. Of particular note is that two of the four logo chosen are for NiftyNotes, Inc., a new company working to provide the design and printing of custom birth announcements.
“As you can imagine, we’re excited and inspired by the continued recognition we’ve been receiving for our work,” says Elliot Strunk, founder and Creative Director. “We look forward to each new creative opportunity with the same goals for excellence.”
Strunk’s work has also won past local, regional, and national awards from, among others, 10×10: 100 Specimens of Fine Paper, the Addys, AIGA (The American Institute of Graphic Arts), CASE (The Council for Advancement and Support of Education), Graphic Design USA, Graphis, HOW, Print, Step Inside Design, and Type Directors Club, as well as appearing in articles published in Communication Arts, Dynamic Graphics, and Graphic Arts Monthly magazines. His work has also appeared in eight graphic design compendiums and is included in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress.
