Bill Gruener
Bill Gruener is a technical writer in Andover, Massachusetts who approached Fifth Letter to create an identity for his business. Since his last name is pronounced “green-er,” it only made sense to design his logo and business card using nothing but shades of green.
Logo
Since technical writers typically work to create documents such as manuals and other technically-based fare, an icon-based approach was a natural solution for a logo. Bill writes for the screen, the printed page, the bound volume, and the web. Sometimes icons speak volumes.
Business Card
Bill’s card sticks with the same color palette as his logo. Simple and clean, his card states what he does in a straightforward manner, but can still be seen on a desktop filled with papers and workday clutter.
