The Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma (CIPT) is an organization that partners with medical professionals, coaches and parents to raise awareness for traumatic injuries in children. Their goals include working with hospitals to make them prepared to treat childhood injuries, funding research and partnering with pediatric trauma leaders, developing in-person and online-based continuing education courses and providing advocacy for developing more programs centered around injured children.
We worked with CIPT to help them build a flexible, responsive web presence that the staff could manage internally. This has consisted of not only general awareness around their programming, but also an integrated donation gateway, newsletter sign-up, flexible donor initiatives and a plethora of data mining and analytics opportunities.
Since the launch of the website, donations and media coverage have both increased exponentially. In the 2016 year, Childress has had over 100,000 visitors to the website and raised over $1 million dollars. CIPT has been able to share 24 stories about injured kids and inspired 12,145 people at events.
