NiftyNotes was born out of a moment of love. After a single birth announcement was designed, printed and delivered to family and friends, they began asking who did it, how much it cost, and how they could get their own.
We began researching the birth announcement landscape and realized that there were many options for the do-it-yourself craftsperson and people with more conservative tastes, but no themed collections and choices for parents-to-be with a more artistic bent. We worked to change that by developing collections of cards across a variety of themes like sports, transportation, and more high-end tastes.
In addition to the NiftyNotes brand language, we worked to develop a website that included live, editable templates for items including birth announcements, door signs to welcome baby home, a series of quarterly updates for a child’s first year and thank you cards for the shower and baby gifts. The site also offered a variety of envelope choices and custom mailing labels populated with a user’s uploaded mailing list.
