Social Sidekick was a tool developed for a very simple purpose — getting older people confused or uncomfortable with social media engaged by using a tool they were already familiar with: email.
In addition to the brand language, we created a simple dashboard allowing users to sign-up once using an existing social media account. (They only needed one to begin.)
Once the two were connected, a basic daily prompt was scheduled to be delivered via email. When the user replied, the content was posted to their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts. If a user wanted to include images in their post, they simply had to attach them to their email, something they were already used to.
